Hardware installations, upgrades and repairs
As well as being able to supply complete new systems, we offer an upgrade and repair service to your existing PC or laptop, hardware and peripherals.
If required, we will also provide training in the use of your new hardware or software.
Please note that because of this, the upgrade and repair service is only available to customers within the Weymouth and Portland area. We are NOT a reseller, so do not offer upgrades on a 'supply only' basis.
Memory
More is always better! Fitting additional memory can enhance your machine's performance at a very low cost.
We work with one of the country's leading memory suppliers to identify the correct part for your machine.
Hard Disks
If you are running out of space, fitting a new hard disk can extend your computer's life. More modern disks are also faster, and so will increase the performance of your machine. If your disk becomes over 75% full, the performance of the PC will suffer, so we would recommend upgrading, or adding additional disks if there is space in your unit.
Backups
The data on your machine is more valuable than the hardware itself , so an appropriate strategy for backups is important to you and your business. We will help you determine the most appropriate backup strategy and choose the right hardware and software to suit your requirements. We can also produce ad-hoc scripts to automate the process.
