How can HomeTECH help me?
It monitors for potential problems so you can pass it off to us before it becomes a real pain for you. You’ll get a simple notification if a problem arises, and easily be able to get in touch with us using HomeTECH.
What services do you offer?
We offer a range of packaging which include:
Monitoring: we keep an eye out for problems on your computer before they become a real pain for you
Managed Anti-virus: this service is dedicated to detecting and removing harmful viruses that try to hurt your machine
Online backup: we’re sure you carry out regular backups of all your important data (pictures, letters, accounts spreadsheets etc) but if you use an external USB hard drive or Pen drive for this, your precious data is still not safe from attack. No doubt you have seen on TV or read in the papers about the series of recent Ransomware attacks carried out on large businesses (including the NHS). Ransomware works by not only infecting your local Hard Drive, but also ANY other drive that is directly attached to your computer (or your home network) meaning the external USB drive you have used for your backups will get infected as well! Online backup protects you (and your data) from this threat because it is NOT connected directly to your PC because your data is stored in the Cloud.
Patch Management: when there’s an Operating System or software update, let us do the heavy lifting and take care of that for you. It’s important to update your Operating System and other software whenever updates are available to protect your computer from malware.
What information can you see? Can you see my private information?
No, we can’t. The information we can see is purely for diagnosing and fixing hardware and software issues. We do not track personal information. Examples of information we can see are:

We offer a range of monthly packages so you can decide what works best for you.
Our most comprehensive package is the Fully Managed package. It includes everything from the other packages below, plus we include a free Annual computer clean up worth £45.00. Extend the lifetime of your machine by letting us clean and service it for you! Our Fully Managed package is just £10.00 per month.
Our Protection PLUS Package gives you everything in the Protection package below, plus 25GB of Automated ONLINE BACKUP giving you complete piece of mind about the safety of all your personal data. YOU decide what you want to back up and how often (although a daily backup is recommended), and should the unthinkable happen, restoration is really quick and easy. Please ask for more details about this and our other Online backup services. Our Protection Plus package is just £8.00 per month
Our next package is the Protection Package, which includes everything from the two packages below, plus Managed Antivirus. This not only protects your PC from any harmful threats and viruses, but in the event something nasty did get through, we will automatically be alerted so we can Pro-actively manage it for you. We will also make sure you are running the latest Updated Virus detection at the same time.
Our Protection Package is just £4.00 per month.
Our final proactive support package is the Monitoring Package. This automatically monitors all the main hardware and software devices on your PC, like your Hard Disk, Memory, CPU, Operating System resource usage, device drivers and security updates 24/7, and alerts you to any errors it finds.
As well as this, it will also alert US at the same time, so we are made aware of the issues as they occur meaning you don’t even have to worry about contacting us. We’ll be in touch with you to let you know what the issue is, and how we can fix it for you. Our Monitoring Package is only £2.50 per month! – less than 8p per day for COMPLETE piece of mind.
Finally, our FREE Basic Package includes the 24/7 Monitoring of your computer with Desktop notifications to alert you to any issues so you can quickly request service.
